Summary This film explores the generational battle over the legacy of the Holocaust. Footage of the journey to Poland undertaken by the first group of third generation Australian Jewish Holocaut survivors, in April 2002. The trip is part of a national education programme, called the 'March of the living'. The journey to commemorate the past lands these teenagers in the midst of a controversial debate, and forces them to confront the complex issue of who owns the Holocaust memory. Presents conflicting views of the Holocaust legacy of the different generations of Jewish Australians.
