Sir Thomas Player's speech was delivered at the Guildhall on Sept. 13, 1679, and had for its subject the Popish Plot. The pamphleteer to whom this was a reply was a certain H.B. cf. Crawford, J.L.L. Catalogue of English Broadsides, 1505-1897.
