Program Name PsycINFO: Key Features and Functions
Program Subject Library Research Training Program 2017
Program Description This session will demonstrate key features and functions of Ovid PsycINFO database. It will provide advice on how to build, combine and refine searches using the Advanced Search function.
Please Note Learning outcomes: After this session attendees will know how to navigate the Ovid PsycINFO platform, build searches by combining keywords and search sets, apply limits to refine results, use the Thesaurus of Psychological Index Terms to facilitate subject searching, save and export results.
  Pre-requisite knowledge: Some prior knowledge of database functions and literature searching using Boolean operators is recommended.
