Program Name Understanding Referencing and Avoiding Plagiarism
Program Description This session explores the what, why, where, when and how of referencing at University. It looks at how to take information from different sources (through using direct quotations, paraphrasing & summarising) and incorporate it into your own work using your own voice. It also shows you how to make use of library resources to manage referencing and citations. Each session goes for 1 hour. Students do not need to register for this! Just come along!
