ASME helps the global engineering community develop solutions to real world challenges. Founded in 1880 as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, ASME is a not-for-profit professional organization that enables collaboration, knowledge sharing and skill development across all engineering disciplines, while promoting the vital role of the engineer in society. ASME codes and standards, publications, conferences, continuing education and professional development programs provide a foundation for advancing technical knowledge and a safer world. The Library has access to ASME journals and conference proceedings.
ASME sponsors approximately 30 conferences per year and publishes about 100 proceedings volumes annually, encompassing the entire spectrum of topics of interest to mechanical engineers and associated industries. Individual conference papers from 2002 onwards are available through the ASME Digital Library.

The Heat Exchanger Design Handbook (HEDH) was first launched in 1983. HEDH ONLINE is continuously updated with data and information and remains the standard reference source for design and other information on heat transfer, heat exchangers, and associated technologies. SAE Mobilus provides access to information covering the advances and research in mobility engineering including ground vehicle, aerospace, off-highway, and manufacturing technology. The Library's subscription covers the SAE Technical Papers in full text from 1998 onwards, and bibliographic records for SAE Technical Papers back to 1906.
The Knovel Titanium Alloy Database is a comprehensive compilation of typical and representative mechanical and physical properties for over 80 well-known wrought and cast commercial titanium alloys in a variety of production conditions at various temperatures. 18 interactive tables offer values in both metric and US units. Included are high and low temperature data, in addition to creep, stress rupture, fracture, and fatigue properties and also specific characteristics and applications of titanium alloys. The database also includes typical and/or estimated minimum properties that have not been published elsewhere.
