Author Gardiner, John, 1737-1793.

Title The argument or speech : of John Gardiner, Esquire, barrister at law, who stood committed by the pretended assembly of this island, for a pretended contempt. Delivered in the Court of King's Bench and Common Pleas, on Tuesday the 10th Day of April last, upon the matter of his own habeas corpus, and wherein our Sovereign Lord the King was Party-Agent, Plaintiff, or Prosecutor, and Henry Berkeley, Esq. Deputy Provost Marshal, was defendant.
