Leaves of press clippings (photocopied) compiled by Australian educator, Una Florence Hodgson (Beecham), about her musical activities as violist, string teacher and member of the original Astra orchestra in the 1940s. Also included are photographic images and a copy of an entry about her from "Who's who of Australian women" (1982).
Bibliography Includes bibliography and index.
Local note From a collection previously owned by Ruby Prout (later Beecham; mother of Zara and Una) and her sister Clare Prout; Percival Prout was brother of Ruby and Clare, who were themselves piano teachers ; Clare Prout was probably taught by Henry Tate ; donated by Julie Vomero in September 2013.
