Summary Colourful documentary exploring the anti-nuclear movement around the Soviet Union, featuring speeches, conferences and interviews. The film acknowledges the price that the Soviet people paid for peace during the Second World War and argues that the government must produce nuclear missiles as a defence against the US government, which has committed acts of aggression in Vietnam and Korea. Other scenes include doctors discussing the need for peace, and interviews with Soviet farmers who have given prize money to, and organised appeals for, the peace fund.
