One of two panoramic lithographs after drawings by J.Schranz, extracted from a volume of 15 plates entitled 'Le Bosphore' depicting views of the Bosphorus and other Turkish locations, which was printed in Paris, ca. 1855. Height: 34 cm, width: 51.3 cm. Each plate lettered with title, names of lithographers and, variously, 'Publié par J. Schranz et A. Percheron, Constantinople' or 'Imp. de Jacomme et Cie r. Meslay, 61, Paris'. The panoramas are lettered with plate numbers, keys and 'Dessiné d'apr.nature par J.Schranz'. Unnumbered plates lettered 'J. Schranz del.'
