Summary Joel is still trying to figure out a way to get out the fine print conditions of his scholarship, but still cannot find out how to do it. He is stuck in the eccentric Alaskan town of Cicely, where the locals learn to live with the ghosts of their past, ponder religion, plan weddings and even take Joel on his first hunting trip.
