EATING DISORDERS GROW WHILE TREATMENT DOESN'T New research estimates that almost one million Australians suffer from eating disorders, and those severely afflicted say the big part of the battle is simply getting appropriate treatment: rejected by being too sick by some parts of the health system and not sick enough for others. FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION REPORTS RESULT IN ARRESTS AND SUPPORT Since 7.30 reported on female genital mutilation in October, eight people have been charged in New South Wales and further accusations have surfaced in Western Australia. A Melbourne hospital, meanwhile, is offering dedicated help to reverse the procedure.
