Local note SpC/BX copy has two leaves providing a manuscript index and references to various passages in the book, in two 17th century hands, bound in at front of volume, together with a slip of paper in a 17th century hand recording an inscription at Boughton Aluph, Kent. It has the armorial bookplates of Sir Hubert Jerningham and Arthur Rutter Bayley.
