Summary Shot in Australia and Italy, this program looks at Cairns-born artist Vernon Ah Kee. Ah Kee is one of Australia's highest profile young artists. His creations - using text, video and drawing - explore racial atrocities and their resonance today. In this intimate and honest documentary, we join Ah Kee as he prepares for and exhibits at the famed Venice Biennale. Ah Kee shares his thoughts on his art and the process of creation, the experiance of being selected to exhibit at this world famous event and what drives him forward in his work. This DVD also includes the short documentary "Vernon" that explores Ah Kee's technique and approach to art as a passionate artist and an indigenous man in modern Australia.
