Notes Reduced reproduction of the hydrographic chart of Australia based on the completion of Flinders' circumnavigation of the continent in 1801. The western half of Australia is named New Holland while the eastern half is named Brtish government of New South Wales. The map includes the time-dated sea tracks of the ships Investigator, the Cumberland and the Porpoise. Text is difficult to read due to reduction from the original. Relief shown by bathymetric soundings.
