Hanging notes in red and floriated wood engraved initials by Loyd Haberly, hand coloured in read and green.
Local note SpC/PRIV copy is no. 3, bound in original dark brown Levant morocco, covers with a spectacular design with onlays in red, orange, two shades of light brown and green, outlines in gilt, combined with areas of gilt tooling and blind intaglio blocking. The whole is surrounded by 2 recessed panels of orange onlay, outlined in gilt and divided by a panel of blind lines. Spine with raised bands and panels framed with bands of coloured onlay, outlined in gilt, gilt lettering. Turn-ins with 7-rule fillet in gilt. It comes from the library of Lord Davies in Llandinam.
