A scribed and notated vellum Breviary leaf. Recto: Four lines of music on neumatic staves with square shaped neumes. Rules in red with rubrics in red. Six lines Latin text in Gothic texture quadrata script with elaborated Gothic capitals. Verso: One line of music with text and fourteen lines of text, rubrics in red. On two-line and five one-line rounded Gothic initials in blue and red.
Music on recto is the third Antiphon for the Second Sunday after Pentecost "Surge in eternu serva munimine sacro custodque tuos astripotens famulos.". Verso: Psalm number 15 (KJV 16) Conserva me Domine quoniam speravi in Te, dixi Domini deus meus es tu (Preserve me, oh, God, for in Thee do I put my trust. O my soul thou hast said unto the Lord, thou art my Lord...)
In the Latin Vulgate Bible this is numbered as Psalm 15. The Protestant King James Version (KJV) lists it as Psalm 16. Current convention favours numbering as Psalm 16.
