Summary Proceedings of the trial at Winchester summer assizes in 1813, where Reverend Bingham was convicted of having illegally obtained a licence for a public house, when no such public house was in existence, and of having stated in the conveyance of such house, a false consideration of the same, with intent to defraud the revenue by evading an additional stamp duty; at a new trial in the Court of King's bench in Nov. 1813, he was convicted.
