Description Wild Plants of South-eastern Australia is an easy-to-use guide to the vascular plants of Victoria, Tasmania, southern New South Wales (about half) and south-eastern South Australia (about a fifth), an area of about 1.2 million km2. It contains descriptions, photographs, identification aids and distribution data for virtually all species of vascular plants that live in the wild in this area. The database contains the names, classification and conservation status of over 9000 vascular plant species recorded for the area. Each species has a plain English description and most are represented by one or more colour photographs. Users can plot distribution, as a series of grids, on any one of a range of maps of south-eastern Australia.
