Summary This volume contains the papers of the 12. Symposium of the STAB (German Aerospace Aerodynamics Association). In this association, german scientists and engineers from universities, research-establishments and industry are involved, who are doing research and project work in numerical and experimental fluidmechanics and aerodynamics for aerospace and other applications. Many of the contributions give results from the "Luftfahrt- forschungsprogram der Bundesregierung (German Aeronautical Research Program)". Some of the papers report on work sponsored by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, DFG, who were also present at the symposium. This volume gives a broad overview of the ongoing work in this field in Germany.
