The ACLS Humanities E-Book (HEB) is an online collection of books in the humanities, selected by scholars for their continuing importance for research and teaching. HEB is an ongoing collaboration of the ACLS (American Council of Learned Societies) with constituent member learned societies, over 100 contributing publishers, and the Michigan Publishing division at the University of Michigan Library.

ASME Digital Collection Journals



ASME helps the global engineering community develop solutions to real world challenges. Founded in 1880 as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, ASME is a not-for-profit professional organization that enables collaboration, knowledge sharing and skill development across all engineering disciplines, while promoting the vital role of the engineer in society. ASME codes and standards, publications, conferences, continuing education and professional development programs provide a foundation for advancing technical knowledge and a safer world. The Library has access to ASME journals and conference proceedings.

ASME Digital Library conference proceedings



ASME sponsors approximately 30 conferences per year and publishes about 100 proceedings volumes annually, encompassing the entire spectrum of topics of interest to mechanical engineers and associated industries. Individual conference papers from 2002 onwards are available through the ASME Digital Library.

AustLit : the Australian literature resource



AustLit indexes current publications to provide an up-to-date record of Australian literature and criticism, including works of fiction and poetry, writing for the theatre, biographical and travel writing, writing for film and television, criticism and reviews. The indexing schedule is determined by the level of Australian content published. Journals are indexed either quarterly or annually; newspapers on a weekly or monthly basis. AustLit also provides biographical and historical information about the people and organisations associated with the works covered.

China: Trade, Politics and Culture 1793 - 1980 provides a wide variety of original source material detailing China’s interaction with the West from Macartney’s first Embassy to China in 1793, through to the Nixon/Heath visits to China in 1972-74. It provides multiple perspectives – from politicians, diplomats, missionaries, business people and tourists, and documents many of the key events that happened in this period.

Codices Hugeniani Online



Codices Hugeniani Online (COHU) offers the fully digitized archive of Christiaan Huygens (1629 - 1695), held at Leiden University Library. The archive includes notebooks and loose leafs with texts in the field of astronomy, mechanics, mathematics and music, as well as correspondence and annotated books. Huygens was a prominent Dutch mathematician, astronomer and physicist. He published major studies on mechanics and optics, and a pioneer work on games of chance. He is famous for his discovery of the rings of Saturn and its moon Titan, and for inventing the pendulum clock.
