Acumen Practice Notes is an online resource of architectural practice material, providing an extensive database of advisory notes on managing architectural practice and projects in Australia. The practice notes are continuously updated with new and revised notes, and include downloadable resources such as the ABIC reference contracts (as applicable to all states and territories), digital versions of the Institute's Client Architect Agreement and the Client Architect Agreement for Limited Services, Guide letters and Client information notes. The 'Environment' section incorporates the Institute’s Environment Design Guide (EDG), comprising over 175 peer-reviewed design notes on built-environment sustainability. New and updated Environment notes are available exclusively on the Acumen Practice Notes platform.

The ANREV publications centre provides members with a fully searchable database of all publications released by ANREV (including ANREV reports, technical papers (Red Papers), and the ANREV Index) as well as other publications relevant to the industry. These include research and professional standards reports and snapshots, public affairs briefings and presentations from key events. Some publications are available to everyone, while others are restricted to registered users.

The AREF/IPD UK Pooled Property Fund Index measures quarterly total returns on a Net Asset Value basis. All of the funds included in the Index are collective investment schemes offering indirect exposure to the UK property market. The performance of their directly held portfolios is independently measured by IPD. The Library has access to data 2011-2014
Art & Architecture Complete provides full-text coverage of 380 periodicals and more than 220 books. In addition, this database offers cover-to-cover indexing and abstracts for more than 780 academic journals, magazines and trade publications, plus over 230 books. The database also provides selective coverage for 70 additional publications and an Image Collection of over 63,000 images provided by Picture Desk and others.
ABCB Codes & Standards database provides a nationally accepted and uniform set of technical requirements for all areas of building, from design to construction. The National Construction Code (NCC) was developed by the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) on behalf of the Commonwealth, State and Territory Governments, and is referred to as the building regulation in all States and Territories of Australia. This service provides access to the National Construction Code (NCC), which consists of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) + the Plumbing Code of Australia (PCA), and the Australian Standards referenced by the codes.
SAI Global On-Line Premium is a web-based service that provides always up-to-date access to the full collection of Australian Standards, plus optional access to international Standards from ISO, IEC, EN, ETSI, NSAI, JSA, and a searchable index of standards from ANSI, BSI, DIN and ASTM.
This database is a comprehensive listing of journal articles on architecture since 1934, covering the history and practice of architecture, landscape architecture, city planning, historic preservation and interior design and decoration. It indexes over seven hundred American and international journals including not only scholarly and popular periodical literature, but also publications of professional associations, American state and regional periodicals, and the major serials on architecture and design of Europe, Asia, Latin America, and Australia. The index is published by the Avery Architectural and Fine Arts Library at Columbia University.
BUILD is a bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts published and unpublished material on worldwide information in the building, construction and engineering fields including fire technology. Please note BUILD is no longer updated and coverage is limited to 1989 - February 2002.

The Library has access to data on the following areas: Melbourne CBD, Southbank, Docklands, St. Kilda Road, Eastern Melbourne, Burke Road, Chapel Street and Richmond (Bridge Road).
Compendex is a comprehensive bibliographic database of engineering research in the broad subject areas of engineering and applied science including: nuclear technology; bioengineering; transportation; chemical and process engineering; light and optical technology; agricultural engineering and food technology; computers and data processing; applied physics; electronics and communications control; civil, mechanical, materials, petroleum, aerospace, and automotive engineering. Compendex combined with the Ei Engineering Index Backfile provides coverage from 1884 to the present day. The database is updated weekly.
CumInCAD is a cumulative index of publications about computer aided architectural design. It includes bibliographic information of papers from journals and conferences such as ACADIA, ASCAAD, CAADRIA, eCAADe, SiGraDi, CAAD futures, DDSS and others. All papers include full abstracts and many are also available in full text. Published papers relating to building performance may be retrieved directly from the IBPSA-website.

ICONDA, The International Construction Database, covers worldwide technical literature on all fields of building construction, civil and construction engineering, and architecture and town planning. ICONDA contains references taken from sources in more than 20 different countries. Each reference has abstracts and detailed keywords in English. Information is sourced from periodicals, books, research reports, conference proceedings, business reports, theses, and non-conventional literature that is normally outside the public domain. Coverage is from 1976 to the present, and the database is updated monthly.
The IPD Australia Property Investment Digest is a source of data on the Australian property market. The quarterly returns quoted within the Digest are compiled from valuation and management records, collected from investors and property managers by IPD. The Library has access to data 2011-2014
