"This box set of prints, a 'Tale of love', is one of an edition of six which was created and printed in 1990 by Monica Oppen. It contains 20 original etchings. Some of the etchings have been combined with lino cuts. 'Painterly' inking has been used to increase the variety of textures and the diversity of colour. Strict similarity within an edition has not been the aim of the artist, yet no significant difference occurs between prints of the same edition. All prints are printed on BFK Rives 270 gsm aper. the boxes were made at D.S. Murray P/L, Sydney."--Colophon. |
