The binding is quarter leather (red kangaroo) with red leather corner caps and hand-made head and tail bands. Hand sewn around 3 tapes with laced-on boards. 9 unnumbered pages of black and white illustrations ; 10 pages of red design (reverse of cover design) ; and printed endpages in black design.
The poems were handwritten by the author and printed lithographically. There are 14 lithographs (9 images and 5 decorative section-dividers) ; the screenprinted sidings and endpapers are also by Jim Pavlidis.
